Yes, it's tragic news, but lorries seem to have declared war on the handsome sport of rugby. Luckily it's only in New Zealand, but the Lorry Vs Rugby war could go international if we're not all on the ball.

Apparently a new trend amongst kiwi hoodlums is to steal trucks, do a spot of joy riding, and tear up local rugby pitches with the monster sized vehicles.

In Leeston for example, a group used a truck to do “donuts” on the rugby ground, making the surface unplayable. Eek.
