Japanese rugby player claims the All Blacks are as stoned as him
The reputation of Japanese rugby is going up in smoke thanks to two players at the hugely successful Kanto Gakuin University side spending too much time growing weed, so they can smoke "jazz cigarettes."
However their ban for their alleged drug crimes hasn't gone down well. One player has pointed out, if they tested for marijuana in New
Zealand, a number of players would be ineligible to wear the black
jersey. Brilliantly he made this statement wearing his
rugby club blazers, which comes complete with a badge that shows a plant remarkably
similar to a ganja leaf.
