Players: "Not Our Fault"
Many of England's leading players are dissatisfied with the level of coaching they receive at international level, according to a MORI poll commissioned by the Professional Rugby Players' Association to find out the key areas affecting the game in the ten years since it went professional.
The survey, whose findings will be made public after the end of the season, found that players were concerned about playing too many games, with burn-out a major concern, and that they needed more time together at international level. It also established that players felt the level of coaching at their clubs exceeded that of the national team. Not what Phil Larder, Joe Lydon et al were hoping to hear, I'm guessing.
