New Management Position For Ruddock
Former Welsh head coach Mike Ruddock has been handed his return to management, two months after his controversial resignation from his WRU position. He will bring his skills and motivational ability to a new team - Newport-based training and recruitment company Acorn. It's perhaps not the move that was expected, but the position of commercial development manager will at least provide a fresh challenge.
Ruddock was effusive in his praise for the company, saying "Acorn has been one of the outstanding business successes in Wales during the last decade, during which time they have also contributed an enormous amount to Welsh sport." Looks like payback time, then.
